Imagine at the age of 70, deciding that you needed to embark on a 750 mile walk across New York State to talk about your journey through PTSD and your own personal darkness to raise awareness for mental health stigmas, and homelessness.
Frank is one of the longest living US Veterans diagnosed with 100% PTSD related disabilities, and has embraced his trauma and made it his life’s mission to educate others. For the past 30 years he has traveled the country advocating, lecturing and sharing his incredible collection of soldier inspired artwork with his award winning exhibit “The Art of War”.
The documentary we discuss has just been announced as the 2021 Winner of the Audience Award Documentary Feature at the Queens World Film Festival. Check out his website to see where you can see this amazing documentary.

If anyone can make the world happier, this lady can. Linda grew up in Vietnam, at the age of 15, she was ‘teleported’ to Sydney, without a word of English and had to find her way in the world.
Linda’s message is to make sure we all grow spiritually and live out our best dreams. Linda has a passion for assisting people to reach their full potential. Her message that she shares with her # Hearts Global connection group uses the vision and mission to create a more connected society by eliminating loneliness, isolation, and the lead to depression.

Our guests this week are Ian Hutchinson (‘Hutch’) and Don Mackee. Hear their story about how, Ian who as a fit and healthy 50 something was clinically dead for 19 minutes and was saved by his friend Don while on their morning bike ride.
In September 2018, while bike riding with his mate Don MacKee, he had a sudden cardiac arrest. Cardiac Arrest is an electrical issue and can usually go undetected until the electrical impulse to the heart doesn't charge. Thanks to some quick thinking by Don and some good samaritan CPR bystanders, help was called, CPR commenced and Hutch became one of the lucky 9% to survive an out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrest.
We will have some fun during this episode but in no way do I want to make it seem like this is not an important subject. GET IN THE KNOW!

Today's guest has become family to me. Tony Dean is a man who is ALL heart and that heart is SO MUCH LARGER than his 5'5 frame. Tony and his co-founder of Cans 4 Cancer Robert Schwendel sat knowing they had to do something when cancer struck someone close to them. So instead of sitting back they jumped into action creating Cans 4 Cancer. Each of us has been touched by different people in our lives affected with this horrible disease and inspired by the beautiful stories of survival.
Cans for Cancer is a non profit organization collecting cans, bottles and donations one at a time to raise awareness for breast cancer. Each can, bottle and donation collected supports and unites young women with breast cancer.
One of Tony's favorite quotes is from his friend who he honors every day - "Make your mark, inspire change and leave your legacy."
This episode is dedicated to the millions who have died from this horrible disease but especially the angels Kristen Martinez and Kayla Falcon. I dedicate this episode and mention them because they are the reason why Tony began his ride and along that journey he met me and changed my life.
